After growing up behind the beautiful hills of Taunus, Axel Plua moved to Frankfurt in 2008, where his vinyl collection began to grow. One year later, he made his first club appearance in the scene. "The Anja" a.k.a "La Bananja" wanted him for her party series "Friends" at Tanzhaus West.
His reply? "But I'm not alone”.
Together with his friend and DJ colleague "from the digital beginnings”, Sascha Wilde, they celebrated their club debut on the 27th of June 2009 under the name "Antidepressiva”. Axel was then known as Señor Cartmanez.
He later played his first solo-gig at the open air party "Grillen am Turm" in 2011, followed by several DJ sets at techno-partys arranged by Noise-Fire-Events. In 2013 he won the vinyl DJ-contest "Betty Ford" in Frankfurt and a slot for the warmup on "Bettys Dance into May".
After a short creative break, he is now back with a new name but still the same colorful and diversified sound.
It's significantly influenced by the music of the german DJ Pierre, Karotte, Sven Väth and their partys in and around Frankfurt. With his passion for music he's ready to conjure up a big smile on your face. Goosebumps inclusive!!!
So go out and spread the pretty news.
